SAM GREGG
Project Manager
Sam was born and raised in Spokane, and as the son of artists, he has been surrounded by art and design since he can remember. He joined Design West after he graduated from the University of Idaho with his Master of Architecture in 2006. He enjoys the wide variety of projects he has had the privilege to be part of, but really enjoys working with our clients on K-12 and higher education projects across Eastern Washington and North Idaho. He particularly loves the early stages of the design process: listening, collaborating, brainstorming, sketching, 3D modeling, and solving spatial problems. Nothing is quite as rewarding as watching a design grow out of the ground and become real. Sam named his dog Renzo, after the famous architect, and in his free time, Sam still loves planning and building his next home project, trying to turn an old Fiat into a race car, and losing the battle to reclaim his ridiculously out of control yard.
