RICHLAND HIGH SCHOOL THEATER RENOVATION
This auditorium is the largest fixed-seat performing arts venue in the Tri-Cities region, with a seating capacity of 1,300 seats. The renovation modernized 28,000 square feet including a new vestibule, accessible seating, a center aisle to address safety concerns, code compliance, additional restrooms, and updated mechanical and electrical systems. Stage improvements included a new motorized orchestra pit platform to meet ADA requirements, flooring, motorized stage rigging, ‘house’ lighting, and full stage curtains. Completely new audio and visual systems were installed as part of the project, which included new wireless mics, speakers, and acoustic treatments. The building’s exterior also received a new roof, new guardrails, and two electronic reader boards.
