This high school campus consists of a two-story main building, approximately 250,000 square feet, an Agriculture/Professional-Technical Education Building, approximately 18,000 square feet, competition-level facilities for baseball, softball, tennis, and soccer with supporting restroom/concessions buildings, and a competition-level football stadium with bleacher seating for home and visitors with a ticketing, restrooms, and concessions building. The school features skylights and clerestory windows in large areas and stairwells to bring natural light into the building, secure vestibules and entries with administrator control, and the building exceeds code requirements for energy usage with high-efficiency HVAC, lighting, electrical systems, and a super-insulated building shell. We have found that Design West has been attentive to detail, sensitive to our specific district needs, and willing to assist and advise at each stage of our projects. After bidding of the first of the high schools, Design West was very proactive in the value engineering/cost savings process as the district attempted to bring each of the projects within our budget.
