MOSCOW COMMUNITY PLAYFIELDS

The Moscow School District Community Playfields is a joint project between the City of Moscow and the Moscow School District. It is a result of a lengthy and highly inclusive public process. The site was transformed into a multi-use sports complex for baseball, soccer, and softball. New site grading, soil amendments, and turf ensure durable and attractive playfields for school, community, and club team events. New dugouts and a restroom/press box building were also part of the overall plan and were strategically placed above the 100-year floodplain level. The site has been carefully conceived to also accommodate school district plans for a new school to be built in the future.
