TRI-TECH EAST BUILDING ADDITION

This facility’s site was a standalone landscape nursery business for many years before KSD and Tri-Tech purchased the property. This project was an addition to an existing metal building constructed in the early 2000s. The change from business to educational occupancy required bringing the entire building up to current code requirements. It required significant demolition in parts of the building as well as extensive mechanical and electrical systems upgrades. The new building serves three programs - law enforcement, fire fighting, and drone manufacturing/aviation - each with a dedicated classroom. The project included approximately 5,500 square feet of new construction for three classrooms, an entry/restroom addition, and circulation space. Site work included extending gas and sewer lines to serve the building and new vehicular and pedestrian access routes to the main Tri-Tech facility.
