WASHINGTON STATE UNIVERSITY - PALOUSE RIDGE GOLF COURSE CLUBHOUSE

Nestled in the center of Palouse Ridge’s championship 18-hole golf course, the clubhouse is the recreational hub of golfing students, faculty, and visitors. The clubhouse is over 6,400 square feet and includes a fine dining facility with an exterior terrace, full-service kitchen, pro shop, and two office suites. With views of the Palouse prairie and mountains on one side, and a view into the heart of the WSU campus on the other, the project design complements the natural setting with ‘prairie style’ lines and its open nature blurs the definition of inside and outside space. Upon entering, the design accentuates the craft of woodwork with an exposed heavy-timber type of construction and many windows that capture the views to provide an open and light-filled sense to the interior spaces.
