SELF STORAGE AT CHAPEL HILL

Design West partnered with G2 Construction on this design-build project. This self-storage facility is on a 6.6-acre site and has over 120 self-storage units, ranging in size from 4x8 to 10x20, and indoor RV and boat storage units. There is a combination of interior and exterior units, all providing ADA accessibility to the customers. The storage unit buildings total over 83,000 square feet and were constructed out of non-combustible materials: concrete, steel, and CMU masonry. A 10,500-square-foot retail building sits at the south end of the site, and on the west end is the leasing office with a two-story residential unit, that provides 24-hour on-site supervision. Additional commercial suites are in the facility and were built out based on tenant needs.
