TAPTEAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

This new school replaced the existing 40-year-old facility on the same campus location. The facility is a one and two-story building, with over 65,000 square feet, and can accommodate 630 students. The layout concentrates special education spaces - gym, music, library, and multi-purpose room - in the one-story portion of the building near the main entry, and has a two-story classroom wing on the south side of the facility. The layout includes a second and third-floor mechanical mezzanine for ease of access to mechanical and electrical equipment.
