PULLMAN CITY HALL RELOCATION

The City of Pullman approached Design West to complete a study of an existing church with an attached recreation building. A plan was developed to purchase the underutilized buildings and convert the space into the new City Hall and Recreation Center. The project converted 21,900 square feet of the original church building into the City Hall offices and council chambers. The new council chambers are fully equipped with state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment including front wall screen projection equipment, side wall monitors, and built-in wall speaker system. The 29,800 square foot Recreation Center portion received minor upgrades and includes a full-size basketball court, aerobic/dance spaces, classrooms, and office support spaces. The Senior Center program was also provided with adequate space to facilitate its various programs.
