PULLMAN DEPOT HERITAGE CENTER HISTORIC RENOVATIONS
Over the course of five years, Design West worked with the Whitman County Historical Society and the Pullman Depot Heritage Center to restore this 1916 building. Beginning with a Facility Master Plan, the project was completed in five phases. One phase included cleaning, restoring, and preserving all exterior brick and sandstone. The new roof was constructed using an exact replica of the original green-colored clay tiles manufactured by the same Ohio-based company over a hundred years ago. Interior renovations will include all new electrical and plumbing systems, ceilings raised to the original height, restoring original Terrazzo flooring, and ADA-compliant restroom renovations.
