REANEY PARK SPRAYGROUND

This project involved the installation of 12 water park spray toys, on a concrete slab on grade, adjacent to the City’s two public pools. The existing site constraints the design team overcame included a triangular-shaped space of only 4,600 square feet which naturally sloped in the opposite direction than needed to drain back to the mechanical building pump room. The design team was able to provide a variety of different sprayground toy features in the limited space, along with a uniquely shaped, sloped, colored, and continuous concrete slab placement, for a playful sprayground experience. This project also included a new mechanical building with a 3,000-gallon reservoir tank to operate the sprayground features and a new sunshade/pool deck area.
