PULLMAN FIRE STATION #2 VEHICLE BAY EXPANSION
This project involved a 20’‐0” extension of the existing vehicle apparatus bay in order to accommodate a new, longer fire truck. The design reused the existing structural end frame with door openings, and the existing roof liner and slope were continued in order to maintain the same visual characteristics of the original building facades. Due to the increased square footage of the building, a new 2‐hour fire wall was installed from the floor slab to the roof deck, bisecting the existing building into two separate fire areas. This project included modifications to the vehicle exhaust system, utility site work, new exterior siding, parking lot improvements on both sides of the building, landscaping, and ADA upgrades.
