SHOSHONE-PAIUTE TRIBAL HEADQUARTERS

In the design phase for these headquarters, careful consideration was given to the incorporation of tribal culture and values, as well as addressing the individual needs and desires of those that will work in and utilize the complex. The campus design features a central tribal council building, with additional buildings radiating from this social and civic center of the campus. The council chambers, located in the center of the main building, are on the state line of Idaho and Nevada, reinforcing the design concept as the central hub of the complex and of the reservation, located in both states. The headquarters was designed to be constructed in phases with this first phase consisting of the central Tribal Council building and an adjacent Finance/Administration Building. These buildings contain the council chambers, tribal offices, and flexible office space for various departments and organizations.
